LANCE'S WRITING CAREER
Lance returned to Los Angeles in 1983 and resumed his writing career. Lance’s writing career would span thirty years. He wrote about his first passion rock ‘n’ roll but later became a regular columnist interviewing movie celebrities, and writing film criticism as well as comments on pop culture and fashion. Throughout his life Lance had magazine columns in Circus Magazine, Interview Magazine, American Film, The Advocate and Details Magazine. He interviewed a variety of celebrities from Lily Tomlin, Gus Van Zant, and Ron Reagan to Donna Summer, Alice Cooper and ABBA.
