Donate
Books to Prisoners Some
programs exist throughout the US to provide donated books to prisoners. New, used,
overstocked, or defective books are donated by publishers, bookstores, libraries,
and individuals, pursuant to rules in effect by correctional institutions. Most
prisons and jails restrict or prohibit inmates from receiving books directly from
individuals through the mail. But they generally welcome donations done through
proper channels.
